P2P | Parent-to-Parent is a free community program that connects Black parents, caregivers, and families raising Black children across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The program provides:
– A safe, supportive space to share experiences
– Access to trusted resources and expert guidance
– Practical strategies to support your child’s academic, social, and emotional development
P2P is grounded in the belief that Black families are strong, capable, and deserving of support, connection, and opportunity. The program also helps families navigate systemic barriers, build confidence, and foster collective care.
P2P is open to Black parents and caregivers and parents and caregivers of Black children and youth.
You do not need to be part of any other ACCN program to join.

No, you can attend as many or as few sessions as you like. You can attend one session, join occasionally, or participate regularly. Every session is open to new participants.
Most P2P sessions are designed for parents and caregivers only, as many of the topics create space for open, honest conversations around parenting experiences, challenges, and strategies that may not always be appropriate for children to be present for. However, some in-person events are intentionally structured to include both parents and children, with activities designed for shared participation. We encourage you to check the event details in advance to understand the format and ensure it aligns with your family’s needs.
